Yemeni military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sari said the ship, named “Megapolis”, was attacked because it violated Yemen’s embargo on all goods shipped to Israeli ports.

Sari said the Yemeni Armed Forces pay tribute to the fighters in Gaza and Lebanon and affirmed that the martyrdom of the great leader Yahya Sinwar only strengthens the firmness and determination of all free peoples of the world to continue on the path of liberation and victory. .

He added that they will continue to enforce a naval blockade against Israel and will attack all ships that are linked to, heading to or dealing with Israel. They will use drones and missiles, and the operations will not stop until the siege on the Gaza Strip is lifted.
