MSC Enhances Connections Between Europe and South Africa

As part of MSC’s continued efforts to improve services between Europe and South Africa. We are pleased to announce the following updates to services from NWC to South Africa starting March 2024. The current NWC to South Africa service rotation will be updated with a direct call in Bremerhaven. Increasing flexibility for customers transporting cargo between Germany and South Africa. The new rotation of services is as follows:

London Gateway – Rotterdam – Antwerp – Hamburg – Bremerhaven – Le Havre – Sines – Las Palmas – Couga – Durban – Couga – Cape Town – Las Palmas – London Gateway.

The first ship in this new rotation is MSC BRANKA. Voyage number NZ411A will arrive in Bremerhaven on March 19, 2024. Ingonyama Service In addition, a new feeder service, “Ingonyama Service ” will be implemented.

It connects South Africa’s East London Port with Coega every week. This new service will provide a direct maritime link between our east London manufacturing site and also one of South Africa’s major ports. Offering a practical alternative to truck transport between the two. Weekly service starts from Kuga’s departure on TOKATA  on  March 25, 2024. Additional service coverage increases customer flexibility and also expands his MSC loading port range to and from South Africa, providing more direct cargo transportation between the NWC and South Africa. The feeder service will also offer customers improved options for connecting to MSC’s global network and shipping goods from the industrial hub of East London.
