Ocean Aero, INTRA Defense Technologies, and MEMR have partnered to advance unmanned systems in Saudi Arabia. Lockheed Martin facilitated the partnership. Ocean Aero’s Triton AUSV will introduce transformative maritime technology to the region. This partnership supports Vision 2030 and contributes to sustainable economic growth.
Ocean Aero’s Triton is a hardware-software solution that addresses various maritime concerns related to defense, offshore oil and gas, and the environment. Triton provides capabilities such as maritime domain awareness, sonar mapping, and anti-submarine warfare for defense. In the oil and gas industry, it enables persistent monitoring, construction support, and the integration of sustainable practices. For the environment, Triton offers applications such as reef monitoring, water chemistry testing, and illegal fishing interdiction. With the support of INTRA Defense Technologies and MEMR, Ocean Aero will ensure ongoing component development, routine maintenance, and continued industrialization of Triton fleets.
Ocean Aero is partnering with INTRA and MEMR to bring their autonomous maritime technology to organizations such as RSNF, ARAMCO, and NEOM in Saudi Arabia. This technology will help develop a local industry tailored to Saudi Arabia’s needs and align with its 2030 goals. Particularly those related to national security, regional defence, and environmental sustainability programs.
